The standard of restaurants in Megeve is fairly high, and in general you should expect that eating out will be a pricier affair than in some other resorts. If you are on a budget it is possible to get a relatively good deal at one of the pizzerias. If you are splashing out, visit one (or both!) of the 2 Michelin-starred restaurants for a special meal. Megeve also has some wonderful mountain restaurants and some hidden gems as well as a number of self service restaurants and snack bars.Although not renowned for its apres-ski there are plenty of nice bars to stop at on your way back from the slopes. Later on, the nightlife hots up, with three main nightclubs in the centre and bars that stay open until 4am. For live music visit the well known jazz club (Cinq Rues), as well as other smaller venues. There is even a casino if you fancy a flutter. Be aware that the vibe is quite upmarket, and to get into the clubs you may have to dress up a bit and be prepared to pay more in some of these places.
